Senior Education Associate
Patricia Jia joined the Medicare Rights Center in 2021. As a Senior Education Associate, she develops training materials and presentations to educate consumers and professionals about Medicare. She provides client counseling through weekly shifts on Medicare Rights’ helpline. Patricia also speaks with clients and presents in Mandarin Chinese and works toward making Medicare information more accessible to this population.

Previously, Patricia was a communications associate at the Center for High Philanthropy in Philadelphia. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, with a B.A. in Communication from the Annenberg School and an M.S. in Nonprofit Leadership from the School of Social Policy and Practice. In her free time, Patricia enjoys documenting her life, taking dance classes, and having almost any kind of beverage.

The Medicare Rights Center is a national, nonprofit consumer service organization that works to ensure access to affordable health care for older adults and people with disabilities through counseling and advocacy, educational programs, and public policy initiatives.

Since 1989, we’ve been helping people with Medicare understand their rights and benefits, navigate the Medicare system, and secure the quality health care they deserve. We strive to be the most reliable source of independent, unbiased Medicare information in the United States.
