Junko Anderson

Communications Associate
Junko Anderson joined the Medicare Rights Center as a Communications Associate in 2023. He develops and distributes content to better inform the general public and professionals about Medicare. He is particularly passionate about the accessibility of materials for people with disabilities and non-English speakers.

Prior to joining Medicare Rights, Junko worked in peer-to-peer education on topics of sexual violence prevention and advocacy for neurodivergent and mentally ill communities. He has a B.A. in Politics from Occidental College. In his free time, he enjoys creative writing, crafting, and continuing his Spanish and Japanese studies.

The Medicare Rights Center is a national, nonprofit consumer service organization that works to ensure access to affordable health care for older adults and people with disabilities through counseling and advocacy, educational programs, and public policy initiatives.

Since 1989, we’ve been helping people with Medicare understand their rights and benefits, navigate the Medicare system, and secure the quality health care they deserve. We strive to be the most reliable source of independent, unbiased Medicare information in the United States.
