Medicare Rights Center to Speak at National Journal Forum on the Future of Medicare

Joe Baker, President of the Medicare Rights Center, will participate in a public panel discussion hosted by the National Journal. As Medicare celebrates 50 years since it was signed into law, Mr. Baker will join other panelists in a discussion on the future of the program and how to continue to provide access to quality, affordable health care for older adults and people with disabilities.

The discussion will include questions about the impact of reforms in the Affordable Care Act; how Medicare could be improved to guarantee financial stability; how care providers should be engaged to deliver care efficiently and effectively; and what’s next for the program.
