Sheilah Howell

Client Services Associate
Before joining the Medicare Rights Center, Sheilah worked with the New York City Department for the Aging, where she supported the Senior Internship Program and also participated in the program herself. Earlier in her career, she served as Director of Admissions at an assisted living facility, where she was responsible for overseeing admissions for a 200-bed community serving adults age 55 and older.

Today, Sheilah is proud to serve as a Client Services Associate at the Medicare Rights Center, helping individuals access critical benefits and support. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

The Medicare Rights Center is a national, nonprofit consumer service organization that works to ensure access to affordable health care for older adults and people with disabilities through counseling and advocacy, educational programs, and public policy initiatives.

Since 1989, we’ve been helping people with Medicare understand their rights and benefits, navigate the Medicare system, and secure the quality health care they deserve. We strive to be the most reliable source of independent, unbiased Medicare information in the United States.
