Emerging Issues in Medicare

With the 2004 presidential primary and general elections fast approaching, the Medicare Rights Center has invited all Democratic and Republican presidential candidates to participate in a Medicare questionnaire.

The questionnaire includes questions about nine emerging issues for people with Medicare, drawn from the Medicare Rights Center’s direct service work. Candidates are asked to respond to proposed solutions. For each question, a background information page has been provided with the story of a real person affected by the issue.
