Medicare Assistance Plan (M.A.P.)

What is the Medicare Assistance Plan?

The Medicare Assistance Plan is an off-site health insurance counseling service. M.A.P. can save companies valuable work, time, and money by providing your employees, retirees, and/or members with immediate, high-quality information about Medicare.

Understanding and interpreting new Medicare options, laws, and regulations are complex and time-consuming tasks. M.A.P.'s expert one-on-one telephone counseling staff can do the job.

Telephone Counseling Hotline

M.A.P. is a service of the Medicare Rights Center, which fields nearly 75,000 calls each year from people with Medicare questions. M.A.P.'s hotline links MRC's Medicare expertise to a company's benefits or membership program. M.A.P. provides trouble-shooting Medicare assistance uniquely targeted to your specific needs. Whether it's help in choosing a Medigap insurance policy, understanding HMO benefits or coordinating group health plan coverage with Medicare, M.A.P. is there to offer advice and reassurance on your behalf.

M.A.P. tracks all caller questions in a computer database, which enables us to report the questions asked and issues raised by M.A.P. callers.
