The Medicare Rights Center's Technical Assistance Helpline is for professionals who need help understanding and explaining Medicare to their clients. Our experienced caseworkers help social workers, nurses, advocates, pharmacists and other health care professionals ensure that their clients get the health care and medications they need—and that they understand their rights. Our caseworkers are committed to providing accurate, unbiased information and ongoing technical support to professionals.
In speaking with professionals across the country, we gain a better understanding of the experiences of both people with Medicare and those who serve them. This, in turn, informs the Medicare Rights Center's broader policy and educational agenda.

Technical Assistance Helpline for New York State Health Insurance Assistance Programs (SHIP)
The Medicare Rights Center offers unbiased, up-to-date assistance to the New York State SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program). The New York State SHIP is comprised of New York State HIICAP (Health Insurance Information Counseling Assistance Program) coordinators and counselors. The Technical Assistance team is backed up by the Medicare Rights Center's extensive resources (including Medicare Interactive) and its legal services team.
